2nd Shift Production Supervisor:

Education: 4 year college degree REQUIRED, plus 2 years of demonstrated experience. Solid problem solving skills and decision making abilities; Lean / Six Sigma experience a plus; Effective oral and written communication skills.  Ability to provide and accept feedback from all levels.  A passion to work cross functionally.  Previous manufacturing experience preferred. 

 

Skills Required: Familiar with automated production processes, automated  packaging systems; experience with dry milk powders is a plus. Ability to lead teams and develop people.

Quality Manager:

Position Purpose:

The position is responsible for providing Quality function leadership and guidance to our animal milk replacer manufacturing operations at our Chilton, Wisconsin location. The ideal candidate will drive compliance with Feed Safety, Quality Systems, HACCP, FDA and other regulatory and customer/employee specific programs. Our goals are to ensure quality standards are met and customer satisfaction is exceeded. This position reports to and collaborates with the Plant Manager to ensure efficacy of the Feed Safety and Quality Management System at our Chilton, WI facility.

 

Required Education:

4 year Bachelor's Degree Required in Animal Science, Food Science, Microbiology, Biology, or related field. We are seeking 7 plus years of progressive management experience in a food or feed processing/manufacturing setting. In addition, we desire a candidate with solid experience and knowledge of microbiological testing/analysis, HACCP, GMP's, FDA, and state regulatory requirements.

 

Required Skills/Competencies:

Possess comprehensive experience with identification, prevention and corrective actions relative to food and/or feed manufacturing environments. Must be able to influence employees from floor level and gain commitment to Feed Safety practices/principals and ownership. Analyze and resolve quality issues utilizing such tools as Root Cause Analysis, Six Sigma and Lean practices. Supervise the appropriate disposition of HOLD, Release/Disposition and Returns programs. Ensure that internal audits & corrective actions reports are timely and complete. Execute and verify compliance with on-going Quality Systems training programs. Establish programs, procedures, training, and review processes to ensure, effective execution of floor level Quality systems required by Corporate Quality Assurance and business partners.

 

Preferred Experience:

Dairy manufacturing experience (dairy powder manufacturing). Ideal candidate should have demonstrated proficiency in leading change in a manufacturing environment.

 

Preferred Skills/Competencies:

Ideal candidate should have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks or assignments. Possess strong motivational leadership and training skills. Be able to develop training and execute local quality management system standards.
