Food Safety Modernization Act and the Feed Inudstry

In January 2011, President Obama signed into law the Food Safety Modernization Act (FISMA), the largest and most sweeping changes to the food and feed safety legislation since the Food Drug and Cosmetics Act was originated in the 1930s. This year the FDA has completed its rule on feed manufacturing, transportation and storage, and within a year is expected to become a requirement for all feed manufacturers in the United States. Milk Products Celebrates 100 Year Anniversary in Dairy Manufacturing

December 20, 2011 - The Milk Products’ open house, held at their corporate offices and manufacturing plant in Chilton, WI, was a success!  Many employees, customers, and local residents attended, including Mr. Ben Brancel, Wisconsin Secretary of Ag and the current Alice in Dairyland Katie Wirkus, who presented Dave Kuehnel with a plaque celebrating 100 years in the dairy manufacturing business.
